In segment three, you hear directly from Mayumi and Aaron where they talk about the street smarts of small business on how to buy a business, grow your profits and make it run without you, while also discussing how to get the most out of your business when you are selling.

In segment four, Aaron answers the following questions:

  • I run a small business, and I feel like people are not responding to my marketing pieces as they did before. After seeing the same thing many times, people start to get jaded. How do you find new marketing ideas that are good? I can just randomly test things, but it feels like a shot in the dark.
  • Since reading your book, I really feel like I am on the right path. I can’t wait to become a lifestyle business owner. The problem is that I am getting a lot of negativity from the people I love and care about. They think I am foolish to chase after the dream of becoming a lifestyle business owner. Do you ever get negativity from people who are important to you, and how do you deal with that?
  • Identity theft and cybercrime seem to be on the rise. As a small business owner, what can I do to protect myself and my business from identity theft and cybercrime?
  • I am really inspired by all the YouTube videos you’ve been putting out! I’ve been trying to get my wife on board with the idea of buying a business, but she doesn’t think it’s a good idea. I admire how you are able to get your spouse on board with all of your businesses. I can’t buy a business if my wife is not with me. How do you get your spouse on board if they are really against it?
